Apr 6 - Exposed weakness

Exposing a weakness in your fitness game is something that CrossFit WODs sure are happy to do for you. I would imagine everyone has one. Some of us more than one (a lot more). One of things I dread seeing on the white-board is overhead squats (OHS).  I know any time I see them that it's going to be a long day. I don't dread them like burpees or rounds of running, but because I have such a hard time with it due to my lack of flexibility, which is frustrating to say the least.  I just have to work on it more....can't ignore things and hope they improve, right?

  1. I came in to this wod a little overconfident and the ohs bit me in the ass a little bit. Almost dropped the bar on my head the last couple. All you can is keep on it!

  2. I dig that FOOD man!! What is your total weight loss??

Have you ever tried Bikram Yoga? That is was another piece of the puzzle for me to increase range of motion in my feet and lower back.

Yoga Groove on Burnet Rd has 28 days of Bikram for $28 (I think) You might check it out!
